             MENTORSHIP PROGRAM As students move to college from school, they find themselves in need of guidance and counseling. A mentor acts as a torch bearer for them. Student mentoring is proven to improve student retention and boost job placement rates. Each fresher is assigned a teacher as student mentor who is responsible for guiding the student. Counseling by mentors helps students in supportive and purposeful manner and assist them in the task of finding their own way forward. The students and parents can discuss their concerns with their assigned mentor. It is advised to the students to attend mentor-mentee meetings and discuss all sorts of problems academic or personal with their mentor. This is in the interest of students.  The mentorship at IGIPS is aimed at providing one to one care and all round guidance to students enrolled.                LIBRARY RULES 1. Library cards are issued by the head of the library after filling a form available at library along with two passport size photographs and copy of the fee receipt.  2. The student members shall have direct access to the stack and have freedom to browse through the books during specified hours. 3. A student has to present the library card, identity card and membership card at the library counter each time they want to borrow a book. 4. Same books will not be re-issued to the same student.  5. Reference books are not issued.  6. A member is expected to return the book/books in the due date. 7. An overdue charge will be levied for the late return of the books. 8. Library cards are non-transferable. The persons to whom the library cards are issued will be held responsible for any misuse.
