               Vision & Mission

Vision
The vision of IGIPS is to become a leading institution for pharmacy education and research in the world, which will be recognized for its quality and innovation, global relevance, and as the biggest contributor to the advancement of healthcare worldwide with well-learned, well-skilled, highly committed, and pioneering health professionals.


Mission
The mission of the institute continues on providing high-quality education and training to students, preparing them for various pharmacy practice settings; developing competent, confident, and globally relevant professionals with strong ethical values and a commitment to patient care; fostering research and innovation in pharmacy, contributing to the advancement of knowledge and the development of new pharmaceutical solutions; engaging with the community and providing services to meet healthcare needs; and inculcating ethical practices and promoting responsible use of pharmaceuticals.

The institute has made the Bloom's Taxonomy as the model for its mission and works on the 6-level structure of remembering (recalling basic facts and information), understanding (explaining ideas or concepts in one's own words), applying (using information in new situations), analyzing (breaking down information into its component parts), evaluating (making judgments about the value of ideas or concepts), and creating (producing new ideas or products based on learned information).
