STUDENT'S HAND BOOK : GENERAL RULES & REGULATIONS

Rules & Regulations for Students

1. Minimum 80% attendance is required in both theory and practical classes to qualify for sessional examinations.

2. Plagiarism, cheating, or aiding in exam malpractice leads to disciplinary action, usually resulting in the cancellation of the specific exam.

3. All internal assignments must be submitted on time.

4. You must wear your college-issued ID card at all times in the institute. 

5. Students are expected to wear neat, decent, and appropriate attire in special occasions like annual function, puja observations, etc. 

6. Except for special occasions, the prescribed college uniform is always mandatory. Students without uniform will not be allowed into classes or the institute.

7. Respectful language and polite behavior toward teachers, staff, and peers are mandatory. Disruptive classroom behavior may result in expulsion from the classroom and other disciplinary actions.

8. Ragging in any form is illegal and strictly prohibited. It is considered a punishable offense that can lead to immediate rustication and police action.

9. Smoking, vaping, chewing pan or gutkha, and the possession or consumption of alcohol, narcotics, and other intoxicants are banned on campus.

10. Unauthorized protests, demonstrations, political gatherings, and collecting funds without prior written permission from the Principal are prohibited.

11. Mobile phones are generally prohibited inside classrooms, libraries, and laboratories unless explicitly permitted by the instructor for academic use.

12. Students must handle college property (furniture, computers, and lab equipment) with care. Intentional damage may require financial compensation.

13. Littering, spitting, or defacing campus walls is forbidden.
